Statistical Tools for Healthcare Policy and Outcomes Research

This talk will describe some common statistical issues encountered in health policy and outcomes research. In assessing the quality of health care, issues involved in the analysis of multiple related outcomes, clustered data, and risk adjustment are particularly important. Statistical approaches to these problems will be discussed.
